Abstract

Introduction: Behçet's disease is a rare, chronic autoimmune disease that can affect multiple organs of the body, including the eyes, skin, joints, and internal organs.
Objetive: The aim was to analize Behçet's.
Methods: The study corresponded to the exploratory level, relying on hermeneutics to interpret the systematic review carried out with the PRISMA 2020 methodology. The combination of terms that achieved the best results was: ((Behçet OR Behçet's disease OR Behçet's disease)), and specifically, 50 results were achieved, after specifying the inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Results: The results consistently point to the importance of early and accurate diagnosis, the need for increased awareness of the disease among physicians, and new treatments to prevent serious complications. He found that treatment of Behçet's disease is based on symptom control and prevention of complications, and may include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, immunosuppressive agents, biologic agents, and mesenchymal stem cell therapy, depending on the severity of the disease and the individual patient's response.
Conclusions: We conclude that it is important to study Behçet's disease because of its impact on patients' quality of life and the lack of effective treatments, as well as that recent studies highlight the importance of early and accurate diagnosis and the need for new treatments to prevent severe complications.
