Abstract

Prosthetic dentistry, particularly all-ceramic restorations, is a popular alternative for restoring aesthetically and functionally damaged teeth. Adhesion of the ceramic to the tooth surface, preparation of the ceramic surface, and the type of adhesive cement used, such as resin cements, are key aspects to consider. In a literature study, ceramic veneers were used to correct a patient's upper tooth misalignment, restoring esthetics and function of the upper central incisors while preserving healthy tooth structure. The use of Mock Up, a provisional restoration tool, allows a realistic preview of the final result. The use of ceramic veneers is recommended in cases of alterations in the shape, size, color and position of the teeth, as they are safe, effective and provide long-term satisfaction and comfort.
