Abstract

Health sciences have potentially benefited from Artificial Intelligence, which have represented an opportunity to optimize human life. However, its application has generated ethical dilemmas regarding the interrelationship between physician and patient. The bioethical challenges of the use of AI in health on physician-patient relationship were analyzed. Methods: bibliographic review, through collection, critical assessment, selection and summary of scientific evidence present in scientific articles and other materials. The application of AI influences the relationship between the doctor and the patient, so, it is necessary to limit its autonomy to a healthcare support tool for the physician, so that decision-making is made between doctor and patient. AI systems can improve access to health services focused on patient, but without ignoring morality, human values, and the exercise of deontological duties and obligations of the health professional.
