Perception of humanized nursing care in patients with Chronic renal failure at the menydial clinic

Abstract

Care in patients with chronic renal failure should be with great care to challenge meanings in their health and in the quality of life that they have since from the care the improvement can be more effective. The objective was to identify compliance with good nursing care for patients with CKD through the application of a survey to observe the improvement of care. It was an applied, field and descriptive type of research, with a quantitative approach, I worked with a sample of 50 CKD patients from the Menydial clinic. Of the 50 patients surveyed at the Menydial clinic, 28 % reported very good quality care, highlighting the importance of trust with the nurses. Forty-four percent considered the care to be good overall. Regarding side effects, 62% received the necessary information. Regarding perceived empathy, 48% of the patients felt that the nurses showed understanding. They emphasize the relevance of trust and empathy in the care of patients with chronic renal failure. The study was based on patient perception, defining quality humanized care. The importance of values such as empathy and solidarity between patients and nursing staff was emphasized. Although most patients expressed satisfaction, challenges were observed in the acceptance of treatment, affecting their quality of life.
