Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the results of treatment with nanofat for hyperpigmentation secondary to iatrogenic allogeneic disease.

Method: Descriptive, prospective and longitudinal study in patients treated at the plastic surgery and caumatology service of the Hermanos Ameijeiras Clinical Surgical Hospital with hyperpigmentation secondary to iatrogenic allogeneic disease.

Results: From a sample of 63 patients, 19.04 % had pain as an accompanying sign or symptom, 17.46 % pruritus and 14.28 % desquamation. Regarding the time of evolution, 19.04 % began the symptoms ten years after the application of the modeling substance, the same amount seven years later and 15.87 % at five years. 98.41 % had the buttocks as injection site and 1.58 % the arms. Regarding the location of skin damage, 52.38 % was in the lower limbs, 36.50 % in the buttocks and 7.93 % in the sacral region and lower limbs. 100 % received regenerative therapy with nanofat as treatment, of which 44.44 % received one session, 30.15 % three and 25.39 % two. The results were good in all the patients, without the presence of complications and 100 % were satisfied.

Conclusions: Nanofat treatment of hyperpigmentation secondary to iatrogenic allogeneic disease is safe and offers good results.
