Abstract

Diffuse uveitis or panuveitis is one in which all intraocular structures are affected, with inflammation in the anterior chamber of the eye, the vitreous cavity and the retina and/or choroid and/or retinal vessels. They are the most serious processes and are often related to general diseases, so the main objective is to analyze and describe the clinical manifestations of bilateral panuveitis associated with Tuberculosis, and in turn, determine which is the treatment of choice to use in this case. type of case Panuveitis is usually associated with general diseases such as Behçet's disease, Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome, or sarcoidosis. Also tuberculosis, syphilis and herpetic infection can cause true panuveitis. Panuveitis is the most complex uveitis to treat, and there is still great controversy about many aspects of ocular tuberculosis. Regimens reported for the treatment of ocular tuberculosis vary in the literature. Corticosteroids administered in drops for the component of anterior uveitis and orally are usually used to treat inflammation in the vitreous cavity and fundus structures, where drops are not effective.
