Abstract

Environmental pollution has become a global problem and within it, water pollution has a marked influence on the appearance of dermatological diseases in some populations. The study carried out an analysis of a sample of children from 6 to 12 years old from the González Suárez parish. A varied type of research is used with the application of theoretical and empirical methods, observation and the application of a survey to the parents of children affected by dermatological diseases due to contact with the contaminated waters of the Apangora River. The results showed a large number of effects on children and a low level of knowledge of the population about this type of diseases and the causes that have been causing them. Actions are suggested to reduce the influence of dermatological diseases in the population of the parish.
