It brings with it a series of associated conditions; sometimes emotional and behavioral alterations are present in these patients in a significant way. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of psychological treatment during rehabilitation in adolescent patients diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. For which a questionnaire was created, with the purpose of evaluating the patients' state of mind, support networks and their opinion about physical therapy. It was applied to ten patients attending rehabilitation at the “FisioHealth” center in Ambato. They received eight sessions of individual therapy, using the cognitive-behavioral approach. After the sessions, the questionnaire was applied again, and the results showed a significant effectiveness of the psychological treatment. In 70 % of the cases, it was possible for the patients to have better therapeutic adherence and understand the importance of rehabilitation, as well as strengthening their mood.
